wife	of	John S'	Barton	the further sum of $1500.00	represented toy grantee's certain	promis-
sory note of even date herewith, payable to order of party of the first part twelve months after date, with interest at the rate of 8^ per annum from date until paid; to secure the payment of which said note a vendor's lien is retained yon the property hereinafter described.
