Truatee's Deed. Dated Oct. 6, 1930. Consideration: $2500.00 paid.
Instrument recites the execution of the Deed of Trust from Tudor B.Carre th the Peoples Building & Loan Association, recorded in Vol. 22, pages 368 -370 of Records of Mortgages and Deeds of Trust on land in Hancock County - - - - (land described same as in deed of trust) - - - -Recites that default has been made in the payment of said indebtedness, and that George R.Rea has declined to act as such Trustee, and said Association has appointed W.V.Yates as Substituted Trustee, said substitution being dated Aug. 12, 1930 and recorded in Vol. 26, pages 129-130, Records of Mortgages and Deeds of Trust on lands- - -and has requested said Substituted Trustee to duly execute said Deed of Trust according to its terms, by a sale of the property therein described for the purpose of paying said indebtedness and costs.
Therefore, said Substituted Trustee did fully advertise said lar.u for sale, at public auction, for cash, before the front door of the Hancock County Court House in the City of Bay St.Louis, Mississippi, within legal hours, on Monday, October 6, 1930, for the purpose of paying said indebtedness and costs, by publishing for three consecutive weeks preceeding the sale, in the Sea Coast Echo, a weekly newspaper published in said Hancock County, as shown by proof of publication annexed and made part hereof, and by posting a notice of sale in the front hall of the Hancock County Court house, for said time; and did then and there offer said property for sale;
He first offered said Lot Ho.27 and received no bid for same; He then offered said Lot No.26 and received no bid therefor; he then offered the two/ said lots Hos. 26 and 27, being the whole of the above described property, when and where the Peoples Building & Loan Association, a corporation organized under the laws of the State of Mississippi, and domiciled in the City of Bay St.Louis, Miss., bid for the same the sum of $2500.00, which being the highest and best bid for said property, and the amount of said bid having been paid, the said Substituted Trustee, for said consideration, hereby conveys the hereinabove described land to said Peoples Building & Loan Association.
Acknowledged Oct. 7, 1900, before Evelyn Conner, a Notary Public of Hancock^ Comity, Mississippi. Official seal affixed.
Pro-of of Publication of Notice of Sale shows that said notice was published in the issues of Sept.12, Sept. 19, Sept. 26 and Oct. 3, 1930, in the Sea Coast Echo.
Filed for record Oct. 8, 1930, and recorded Oct.15, 1930, in Book E-5, pages 222 - 22ft of the Hancock County Deed Records.
