BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees urges all owners of archaeological sites and all law enforcement officers to cooperate with the Department of Archives and History in its efforts to protect the State's archaeological heritage by diligently seeking the arrest and prosecution of those individuals involved in the unauthorized excavation of archaeological sites and the buying and selling of artifacts stolen in these excavations.
