Subject:	FYI:	Preliminary	conclusions	on	Poverty	Point	Objects	(PPOs)	from Satchfield, Walden Collections
and Ed Jackson
Hello all,
I	am sending this email out to the people who generously loaned the PPOs to me and to Jean who was very helpful in helping me get contacts for this project.
Attached is a power point slide that shows the results to date of the analysis of the ppos. The first slide discusses the current, preliminary conclusions about the artifacts and the following slides present the data. Also, in about a month, I will send you the photographic images of the thin sections from the ppos.
W,e will be discussing these ppos and others in a paper at the SEAC meeting this fall in a symposium honoring Sam Brookes. I will send this paper out to you when it is completed. Thanks so much for your help.
If it is ok, I would like to hold on to the artifacts from the Satchfield and Walden collections, including the ones not thin sectioned, until sometime in early 2012 but will return them to you then.
