The "Handsboro Democrat" says the raising of Sea Island Cotton in Harrison County has paid. The vhole coast is especially adapted to the culture of this cotton.
The yield to the acre is at least 300 pounds lint cotton, which sells readily at ^1 to ^1.50 per pound.
The land can be bought from 50d to per acre.
