Incorporated. Marian attended Janes UMC in Brooklyn, NY, Valena C. Jones and St. Rock UMC in Waveland, MS and Trinity United Methodist Church in Austell, GA. She was an Educator with the LaGrange Georgia School System; Social Worker at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center and Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, NY; Assistant General Secretary: Mission Education and Cultivation Program Department for the General Board of Global Ministries, New York, NY and Executive Director of Gulfside Assembly in Waveland, MS.
She united in marriage to the late Roosevelt Colon Martin. To this union 5 children ivere born. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter: Deena Martin; 2 Brothers: Robert Dargan and Benjamin Tillman; a special nephew Ronald Tillman.
She leaves to cherish her memory: 4 Sons, Raoul Martin, Eric (Michelle Folami) Muhammad and Peter (Roxanne) Martin of Austell, GA and Malcolm "Marty” Martin of Brooklyn, NY; Grandchildren: Natural, Nakeyah, Malikah, Khadijah, Khadirah,
Ay shah, Khalfani, Ezekiel, Brandon, Linque and Madison; Great Grandchildren: Camryn and Kali;
Sister-in- Law: Lillian Dargan; Nephew:Spencer Dargan; Adopted Sister: Dorothy Bolden; God Daughters: Beverly and Regina Bolden; Adopted Daughter: Ora (Jessie) Franklin-Rodgers; nieces, nephews and friends.
