The restored dome in the courtroom
The interior of the courtroom
The Hancock County Court House renovation of 2009 was completed after a year and a half of intense construction at a cost of over five million dollars.
The magnificent courtroom do^ and the free-standing old jail are especially historically important.
There are more than thirty rooms for courthouse use including an office for the district attorney, the judge’s chamber, the public defender’s office, a witness interview room, and a prisoner’s holding cell.
There are also excellent media and audio visual accommodations.
