TO:	HANCOCK COUNTY CITIZENS
FROM:	HANCOCK	COUNTY	FOOD PANTRY
In the past five and a half years we have helped feed a lot of families and this is the first time we have needed help.
Thropgh October 1991 we have helped 16,182 people, mps t 1 y , cK.i 1 dr en .
■	<	-Ixj ( .	|	f
We have 60 volunteers and a Board of Directors
Our clients are carefully screened, and our dcuble filing bookkeeping allows us to keep close traok of the food given out. Our By-laws state that a fami y can only be helped once every three months, but iJ the Welfare office agrees and the children are hur i;ry we naturally give them more food.
No one receives a salary and the volunteers p< ’ their own expenses.
Our problem now is the added number of people that are hungry. We are feeding double the number tha we helped in 1990.
Our goal and our Prayer is that enough busine: ses, organizations, churches and individuals will h;lp us monthly or as often as possible, in order to l:;ep the Pantry open.
If any of you would like additional details o' our operation, one of our Board of Directors will ae glad to speak with you or your organization about ie Pantry.
Thank you for your support.
The Board of Directors Evelyn Johnson l(Le9t;ne. DeRocha Rpbert 'Boudin1'
