Sauzer receives award for services to elderly
Aileen Sauzer, chairman of the Hancock Food Pantry board, recently received an award for services to elderly Mississippians in Hancock County during the 1992 Joint Conference on Aging.
Twenty-one individuals and organizations from throughout Mississippi were honored during the awards banquet in Biloxi. The recipients were chosen for meeting individual.

Sauzer has served more than
6,000	volunteer hours and traveled hundreds of miles without compensation for the past six years.
Because of her efforts, the pantry has survived recent obstacles to continue helping families in need.
Each year, individuals, agencies and organizations that help
aging network services providers are recognized during the banquet at the Joint Conference on Aging.
Any individual or agency actively engaged in volunteer activities that benefit the elderly in the community may be nominated.
