United Way honors Piazza

Mrs. Ina LeBlanc Piazza received the Hancock County 1992 Mae Beyer/J. Norton Haas Award Thursday for her contributions to the United Way and many of its agencies.
The presentation was made at the United of South Mississippi’s annual meeting held at the Diamondhead Country Club.
Officers for the United Way of South Mississippi elected for 1993 were, Hilda Bourg, president; Skip Hew-
itt, vice-president for planning and resources; Dr. C.J. Wallace, vice-president for assessment; and Garry Ruff, secretary/treasurer.
Bourg is the chairman of the Hancock County operating committee; Hewitt, chairman of the Harrison County operating committee; Dr. Wallace, member of the board of directors of the Pearl River operating committee, and Ruff of the Harri-son County operating committee.
Dorothy Miles, of Pasca-
goula, director of the United Way Jackson County and also director of the United Way of America, was the keynote speaker.
