Part Of Your Past...
And Your Future.
The year was 1899. Captain Hardy had just started his new port. Demure ladies splashed in the Gulf clothed from head to toe. And a wooden ferry floated you across the Bay of St. Louis.
Hancock Bank was bom that year, a modest but worthy undertaking. One that has grown to be the financial leader on the Gulf Coast and across South Mississippi. And in the intervening years the Gulf Coast has grown, too. From a cozy watering hole renowned for its temperate breezes to the bustling region that leads the state in economic prosperity.
Today, 100 years later, we can look back on the recent century with pride. Much has changed. We’ve traveled from the days of the carriage to the age of cyberspace. We don’t know what the next century will bring to us, but we do know what we will bring to it—the courage, the faith, and the steadfastness to face the coming years together.
