Tent School . . .
These youngsters filing out of one of three tents which temporarily house the Tinker-time Kindergarten, 1411 North St., Mississippi City, can thank the tenacity of the director, Mrs. Valerie Newman, and the assistance of the Small Business Administration and U. S. Army for having a place to meet. The kindergarten facility was damaged by
Hurricane Camille and then almost destroyed by fire the next day. The SBA obtained the tents from Fort Benning, Ga., to permit about 125 children to begin pre-school training until a new permanent structure can be completed.
