Report of Activites for Fiscal Year Ending September 50th ofL^feve BAY ST. LOUIS CIRCLE OF "THE KINGS' DAUGHTERS AND SONS".
The Bay St. Louis circle was organized April 1927, a little over a year ago, this is our second annual report.
Our membership numbers 110.
During tne year v/e have relieved many cases of distress.
We are proud of xhe fact that we have never turned down
one case. We have fed the hungry, clothed the naked,
secured employment for the unemployed, ministered to the
sick, visited the County,,jpor, bringing them Cheer and	-	-■
Good 7/ill.	■	'
On June 16th 1928 we threw open the doors of our Emergency Hospital. There were no endowments, no large donations, but according to the inventory taken September 30th v/e have accumulated nearly one thousand dollars of furnishings and equipment, with more coming in daily.
Our report for the year is as follows*-
Expenses paid to and from hospital for 4 patients.
Stranded tourists assisted, that is fed and clothed and given sufficient money to reach their desltnation. y Four Families. •«. Shower of bed linen, towels amounting to §50.00 sent to King's Daughters Hospital isjat Gulfport.
Medical and Surgical attention, prior to opening of Emergency Hospital, given to 10.
60 baskets of food supplied to the destitute.
Washing paid for a period of 14 months for a Tubercular patient. Pledges paid as follows: $85.00 for King's Daughters Home at Hatchez and $15o00 to t^e State.
2	patients provided with nurse.
1	Layetter furnished young expectant mother.
10 sick patients provided with nurishment.
4 stranded provided with Railroad fare.
10 patients provided with necessary drugs.
2	given Railroad fare for other purposes.
2	patients provided with necessary bed linen and gowns.
One girl sent to Milner Home at New Orleans.
One girl sent to House of Good Shepherd at New urleans. f Wrok secured for 5 unemployed.
3	Bouquets sent to the sick.
Pledged one dollar per month for one year for Benton Boy.
