Gentlemen:-	2
Your letter of recent date re’ceived and contents noted. In reply, I beg to state that I have seen the Secretary of Escambia Lodge her© and he told me that if the Bay. St. Louia Lodge will write him requesting that the Lodge here confer the P. & M. degrees on me, they wil] be glad to do ao. He also suggested that I request our Lodge to write here requesting that the other degrees be conferred on me in a shorter time. The way I understand it is that account of my being in the Service the usual tima limit between degrees will be waived. If this is so, why
I	would b} \ore that glad to receive my 2 degrees in as short a time as as possib for although I expect to be here a long time yet, they may possibly ' me to some other Station.
would certainly appreciate it if you will advise me as tc this at aia . .xy date. In any event though, kindly write the Lodge here requesting ^hat they confer the Fellowcraft degree on me. Now in regards to whom I*-should remit for my F. degree. Will you advise me whether I should s.end^you c^eck or give same to Lodge here?
Trusting that I may hear from you at an early date, I beg to remain, in F. <? A. M.,
