Pfc. Ulysse G. Fayard, tail gunner, of New Orleans, La., will roon complete an intensive course in combat flying at the Alexandria Army Air Field, Alexandria, La., and in the near future he will go overseas to a combat area.
He is the member of a Flying
Fortress crew trained by the Second Army Air Force, which has the task at readying fbur-engine bomber crews for overseas duty.
Listed among the. instructprs at the Alexandria .A^my Air Field .are many officers-'-frhd enlisted men wlic have seen action in every theatre 1 of war. These veterans direct crews through training conditions that simulate actual combat stressing teamwork, formation flying and high ' altitude missions.	,
Pfc. Fayard graduated from high school in 1935, from Perkinston Junior College in 1937 and from St. Stanislaus College. He is the sr.n of Mr. Otto Fayard of 614 Metairie Road, New Orleans, La. His wife is the former Florence McCorkle of Edgewater Gulf Hotel, Edgewater Park, Miss. _
