Soiree d’Or
The Historic New Orleans Collection celebrated 50 years of operation with an anniversary gala held Wednesday, May 4, at the historic Orpheum Theater. More than 250 guests—including Mayor Mitch Landrieu—attended the black-tie affair, which featured performances by the Preservation Hall All-Stars, the Jimmy Maxwell Orchestra, and Joe Lastie Jr. and the Lastie Family Gospel, as well as a menu by sponsor Ralph Brennan Catering and Events. Other sponsors included BBC Destination Management, Preservation Hall Foundation, Gambel Communications, and the Hotel Monteleone.
