Ocean Springs, Hiss., Oct. 6, 1915 —
"We will be canning shrimp again before three weeks have passed," said Mr. J. W. Lunday of f&e Ocean Springs Packing Co., the plant much of which was destroyed in the Sept. 30, 1915* storm.
The plant was protected only by $2,000 insurance and the machinery is being repaired.
The new structure will be placed on higher ground, only the px picking sheds being allowed to remain on the water front.
The new plant will be more substantial and will have greater capacity.
Mr. Lunday says his firm has more orders than it can attend
to.
The shrimp season is expected to run until well into November.
