They played in basketball, softball, baseball and volley ball tournaments and leagues; Went on hayrides, skating parties, swimming parties and they went to see "Blood, Sweat and Tears" (one of the top groups of singers in the teenage world). They even had a Christmas Party both before and after Midnight Mass (don’t worry, no alcohol was served!!) And during the Midnight Mass they sat as a group in Church.

A reception was held for and trophies were given to, the coaches who helped them with the tournaments.
PROJECTS.TO RAISE MONEY
In order to keep money in the treasury they have had dances, a cake-sale, pancake breakfasts and sold donuts after Mass. They sold Christmans trees to help repair St. Joseph’s Chapel.
MONEY. GIVEN
The CYO works hard for its money and gives most of it away. During x969 they gave avray $3,109.21. They gave $1,445.00 to the Church and $664.21 to other charitable groups, organizations and causes.
GREAT ACHIEVEMENTS
They have won the trophy for the past two years for being the "MOST OUTSTANDING CYO in the STATE”, one of the members is President of the State CYO, and another member is Editor of the State CYO News Bulletin. They are the proud winners of 40 sports trophies in recent years.
They took on a project of supporting the Astronauts’ decision to read the Bible from space to counteract a law-suit brought by Madelyn Murray O’Hair against the Astronauts. They obtained 6,000 signatures so far and signatures are still beinp sent in from other States.

That is the end of the report on CYO activities for 1969, but they are determined to do even better work in 1970. They know that YOU will always be with them.
