6:00 p.m. Sesquicentennial Mass presided over by Bishop Joseph Howze with Father Peter Mockler and priest celebrants. Dinner and entertainment at Parish Community Center following mass.
Saturday, August 16
10:00 a.m. Historical reenactment of the founding of the parish by Fr. Stanislaus Buteaux in 1847 with processional to the Shrine of Our Lady of the Woods with a living rosary to follow.
Picnic "Bring-A-Dish", Hamburgers and Hotdogs provided, with fun and games for the children.
Story teller from the Storytellers Guild of Poplarville.
Memorabilia will be set up for viewing in the Community Center throughout the afternoon.
12:30 &
3:00 PM Guided Tours of Church inducing discussion of the
elaborate and ornate stained glass windows, statues and objects of faith.
Sunday, August 17
2:30 p.m.	"An Afternoon of American Sacred Song" by
Our Lady of the Gulf Choir in Parish Community Center.
5:30 p.m.	Closing Mass with Contemporary Ensemble.
