Repliz, on the West by the United States land, on the North by Joseph Sibuld, which lot together with all the appurtenances thereto belonging to the aforesaid James Johnson, Elenore Johnson...”
■	Book B, p. 358: Oct. 1 1, 1855: Claresse Laffito to Josephine Fayard: “property on western bank of the Bay of St. Louis”; “bounded on the north by land claimed by A. Boulange or the heirs of John Hopkins (deceased), on the west by the seller [C. Laffito], on the south by a passage 12 ft. wide dividing the land now sold from the land belonging to Ambrose Pardeau, east by the seller having 84 ft. front and extending a back between 2 parallel lines running 84 ft. apart north 70 degrees, west

not know if this is the property which partly housed the Pirate House; the name Laffito is of interest here.]

■	Obviously, Fremeaux bought the land at an auction held by Vignie and then immediately sold to Taylor, since the transactions were on the same day

map) to D.F. Guex.	“Which said tract of land forms part of a larger tract of land

■	D.F. Guex owned lot 35 next to Fremeaux; tract 18 bordered lot 35. Guex’s land was designated N.69degrees East. Fremeaux’s land was designated N.76 and l/4degrees east.
