THE FEVER AT BAY ST. LOUIS A gentleman who	went over	to Bay St. Louis for	the	purpose of
ascertaining the exfeent of the	fever there returned	Saturday
morning and made the	following	statement:
He learned fro”}	the physicians and officers of	the	Relief
Association that there are at present cases of yellow fever
under treatment.
Tvo cases occured Saturday morning. Mrs. Cross died at the
Saucier Hotel Saturday morning.
The physicians consider the fever as of a very mild type, and severe only in the case of unacclimated strangers.
The physicians do not advise the New Orleans families at the Bay to return to the city on account of the prevalence of the
disease in the former plnce.
The only official report of the fever will be that furnished ty the Relief Association of the Bay.
