EASTER MORN
We gather here this glorious Easter morn.
To sing an alleluia song.
To Christ, our Savior, and Redeemer,
On this blessed Easter morn.
Alleluia-Christ is risen.
Alleluia?Christ if risen.
On this glorious Easter morn.
O, let us bow before our King.
O, let our voices loudly sing.
For lo! The Lamb of Calvary,
Has risen this day triumphantly.
Alleluia, Christ has risen.
Alleluia, Christ has risen.
On this glorious Easter morn.
DOWN WHERE THE RIVER BENDS
We gathered violets mid grasses green, down where the river bends.
And as I held you close. I felt this love of ours could never end.
For it was April and the Blue Bird came to sing his song.
Little did I think e?er long 1 would stand alone.
Down where the river bends.
REFRAIN-
I stood down where the river bends and waited for the end Of this April day.
