Sunday, October 5, 2003
Fathe Stanislaus Buteux is credited with inviting the Brothers of the Sacred Heart to begin a school in Bay St. Louis. Saint Staislaus College is named in honor of his patron saint, Stanislaus Kostka. The following tribute to Father Stanislaus was first printed in the November 13, 1903 edition of The Sea Coast Echo. __Rev. Father Buteux was located for three years at Terre Haute, Ind., where his parochial
