Mayor sets Irwin, Patt Cucullu Day
Bay St. Louis Mayor Eddie Favre proclaimed Wednesday, June 10, 1998, as Irwin and Patt Cucullu Day.
June 10 marked the 50th wedding anniversary of the couple and also the 70th birthday of Mrs. Cucullu.
The mayor?s proclamation stated, ?...In 1968, tiring of big city life, (New Orleans) they purchased a home in Kiln, Miss, and became part of the Hancock County family. Fortunately, for Bay St. Louis, they purchased a home and moved to our city in 1983, and
?Whereas; since that time, Ir-
win and Patt Cucullu have become and integral part of the fabric of this community giving tirelessly of themselves in the aggressive promotion of the City of Bay St. Louis, the Historical Society, the Kate Lo-brano House, the art community, local merchants, oak trees, and Hancock County as a whole, and
Whereas; these two remarkable people are among Bay St. Louis? most valuable citizens...? The proclamation was issued from Mayor Favre on behalf of the Bay St. Louis City Council, city staff, and the citizens of Bay St. Louis.
