-Two of the young members of the diBenedetto family have left Bay St. Ixmis within the past week to take their places in the Government?s great national defense program. Miss Nina diBenedetto, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph diBenedetto, a honor graduate of St. Joseph?s Academy and the Nursing School of Hotel Dieu, after undergoing civil service examination with high percentage has gone to Chicago, Illinois, to enter the Veteran?s Facility at Hinas, a suburb of Chicago.
Joseph diBenedetto Jr., who graduated with honors from St.
Stanislaus College two years ago, also passed the requirements -of a civil service examination with high percentage and left on Monday night for Washington to report to the War Department! where he will be assigned a position in some branch of this great and busy department of our Government.
