Miss Edw?rds. who was bor;>; Ii-nuary G, 1073, in E'hvardsviHe.t in Hancock County, where her. parents had sfii!cd on coming to America. was the dan;;ht^r of the late John Kdv.vrds, native of Ply mouth. Eiuiaud. and Catherine Keefe Edwards of Liverpool England. ?
She taught for a number of i-oars at the Louise MeGehee School in New Orleans and in Bay St. Louis Public School.
At one- time she owned a rental library in Gulfpou. and was one of (he founders of the Lay St. Louis City County Memorial Li. brary. where she served as librari in until her retirement. She was a former correspondent for the Sea Coast Echo. the Hancock '"ounly Kasle and also Bay St. Loui.s correspondent for tho Daily Herald for n number of years.

Funeral services were conduct ed Monday morning i:om Rio mann's F.diey-Whitfiold Funeral Home, the Rev. Sehuyler Batson of Biloxi conducted the services.
Interment was in. Cedar Rest Cemetery.
