Dennis Harold FarveSr. was a native of Bay St. Louis, born to Alcide and Dora Maurice Farve on May 4, 1919. He was a World War II veteran, and once held position as the treasurer for the Knights of Peter Claver. He was also a construction worker, a contractor, a .isherman, and a member ofSt. Rosede Lima Catholic Church of Bay St. Louis, MS.
He is preceded in death by his parents, son Michael Favre and four sisters: Edna Farve, Dorothy Sims, Clara Moore and Gladys "May" Favre.
He is survived by wife, Laura Lee Farve; six sons, Roland Dedeaux of Richmond, Virginia, Dennis Jr., Arthur and Earl, both of Bay St. Louis, Henry of Hattiesburg U.S. Army, Christopher of Lake Charles, J\; seven daughters: Patricia of California, Paulette of Lake Charles, LA, Alcida Paige of Delisle, Antionette Wright, and Gloria both of Bay St. Louis, Angela Shanks of Seattle, WA, and Paula of Gulfport; two brothers, John and Peter; 26 grandchildren, 25 greatgrandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Although "Daddy" is in a better place he will be greatly missed by all.
