ordered taken by Covernor Vaudreuil (174 3-1753). Jean waa married to Francolse
Flsseau, born in the colony of Nicholas Flbsairo snd Marianne Legare (LaCarenne).
Jean, as would be expected of any soldier, wy transferred to Natchitoches shortly
after his marriage and it Is there that his first two children were born.

When Nicholas Flsseau died In the early 1730*8 he left a snail estate but died Intestate. After some time the Widow Flsseau married Pierre DeLorme, also a soldier, vet*remaining in the Flsseau home. When Jean and Francolse saw that Marteanne (Flsseau) Del.c was selling off parts of the estate to her
benefit and that of her only other child, another daughter, Jean Instituted a
