Asher? on May 1, 1866. We can assume that Charles Asher, Sr. died before that date.
Samuel Seebold was bom in Pennsylvania in 1845 as listed in the 1870 Hancock Census living with Christine (age 30), Eleaner (15), Charles (15),
Margaret (9), and a 4 year old child called Matehilor (spelling?). The children were listed as ?Seebold,? but we know they are actually Asher. In the Hancock County Chancery Records, Case #49, around 1871 (we forgot to copy the date page), Christiana filed for a divorce with her making some terrible accusations. She said she had a son by Seebold that was about age 7 months at that time. This child apparently died, for we have no record of him - only their one daughter.
Christiana F. Hausch had six known children by Asher and one, the youngest by Seebold. They are:
A.	Eleana ?Lena? Asher - her headstone in Cedar Rest Cemetery in Bay St. Louis, MS shows her bom on December 22, 1854 and died on October 17, 1934. She was born in the Bayou Phillip community, moved to New Orleans after her marriage, then to Bay St. Louis following her first husband?s death and died there. She married three times:
First - Frank Kachler - (also spelled Kuhler, Koechler, etc.) married Lena in New Orleans on December 30, 1873, and she had 4 children by him. He died in New Orleans on July 31, 1882 at age 38 and is buried in the German cemetery there.
Second - Achille Fayard - Lena married him and had 7 children by him in Bay St. Louis. He died there on July 6, 1895 as listed in the Our Lady of the Gulf Church records.
Third - William John Nicholson ?Willie? or ?Bill? Johnson - Lena married him later in life in 1904 and had no children by him. He was a widower of Lena?s half-sister, Barbara Ann Seebold. This was the father of W.R. ?Robert? Johnson who gave us much of this family history.
Elena ?Lena? Asher had the following children:
1.	Elizabeth ?Lizzie? Kachler - born in New Orleans on October 17, 1874 and married Miguel Catchot and lived in Bay St. Louis. They had:
a.	Clarence J. Catchot - bom 1900 and lived in New Orleans
b.	Clara Catchot - bom 1903 and died in 1914 in New Orleans
c.	Michael ?Earl? Catchot - bom 1904, lived in New Orleans, and was raised by his Uncle Frank Kachler and often used Kachler as his last name.
2.	Frank Albert Kachler - bom in New Orleans on October 4, 1876, and married Anice Fayard. Frank has a World War I record, and he died in New Orleans in 1940. He had one son, Earl Kachler who was bom and died in New Orleans as a child. The 1910 Census of New Orleans showed Earl as age 5 that year.
