STAR STUDENT: Freddie is the sor. of Mr. and Mrs. Ledell Terrell of 413 Sycamore Street in Bay St. Louis. Honors he has received in school include a-wards in hand, choir and he won second place a: Track S. M.A.C. His future plans are to attend Jackscr. State College and major ir. business administration.
Freddie L. Terreii, senior at Valena C. Jones High School in Bay St. Louis, has been selected as the school?s Star Student. The selection was based on the student?s high scholastic average for the first semester and high score or. the American College Test.
Willie E. Bradley, Jr. was designated the Star Teacher. Each Star Student was asked to designate the qualified Mississippi teacher, regardless of grade taught, who, in the Star Student?s opinion, made the greatest contribution to his or her scholastic achievement.
3oth the Star Student and Star Teacher will receive 'ram- . ed certificates from the, MEC, the state chamber of comnerce. These awards will be presented at a student assembly in March.
Willie E. Bradley, Jr.
STAR TEACHER: Mr. Bradley coaches and teaches at Va- . lena C. Jor.es High School where he has been for the past nine years. He received his 3.S. degree from Xavier University in New Orleans and has attended Mississippi Valley State College. Mr. Bradley is currently serving as commissioner of South Mississippi Athletic Conference.
