COBURN ?BUD? LADNER
Cobum ?Bud? Ladner, 85, of Bayou Cadet died Sunday, Nov. 10, 1991, in Bay St. Louis.
Mr. Ladner was a native of Bayou Cadet. He was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Lakeshore. He was a 50-year member of Carpenters Local No. 1846 in New Orleans and was a member of the Gulf Coast Historical Society. He was an honorary member of the Devil Swamp Hunting Club. He was caretaker for the Bayou Cadet Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Ladner and Alvina LaFontaine Ladner; his wife, Louise LaFontaine Ladner; and a son, Stanley Ladner.
Survivors include two sons, Ernest ?Bully? Ladner Sr. and Earl ?E.J.? Ladner Sr. of Bayou Cadet; three daughters, Mrs. Helen Carter of Waveland, Mrs. Bertha Necaise of Bay St. Louis and Mrs. Lois Evans of Bayou Cadet; 28 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren.
JViends called Tuesday at St. Ann Mission at Bayou Cadet followed by celebration of Mass at St. John Catholic Church in Lakeshore. Burial was in Bayou Cadet Cemetery.
Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis was in charge of arrangements.
