4A-THE SEA COAST ECHO?THURSDAY, MARCH 12, 1992
"QUOTABLE QUOTES"
By Ellis C. Cuevas
The annual Waveland Civic Association St. Patrick?s Day parade is scheduled for Saturday at 2 p.m.
The parade forms on Waveland Avenue by the ball park and will travel down Central to Coleman, Coleman to Beach, Beach to Lafitte, Lafitte to Central, Central to disband at Coleman.
There will be floats, trucks, cars, bicycles, marchers, groups, bands, individuals and all types of entries in the annual parade which rambles through the streets of Waveland.
Cabbage is one of the favorite throws of some of the float riders, so I guess a lot of folks will be eating cabbage next week.
There will be several awards for the best decorated floats, maskers, etc.
The Waveland Civic Association has been bringing the annual event for many years, and club president Jay Lagasse is looking for a big turnout of spectators as well as participants on Saturday.	IM"1
I hope to see you at the parade.
