Boyhood Dream
I went for a walk, down the old wagon trail AS i did in the days long ago I lingered a while, near the barnyard stile And dream1d in the soft after glow I went back over the years where I was a boy an played in the old red barn
From its cobwebby beams, having a million dreams Which filled my heart with a song
I was soon awakened from my reverie by a night birds soft refrain
Then I walked, on back, the old wagon trail To my present, world again
To Our Old Red Barn and my boys--
