** The Napoleon Cemetery is now within the buffer zone of the NASA Missile Test Site, which obliterated the town of Gainesville? Mississippi, Although this is a beautiful cemetery and is still being used for burials, there are no signs to direct one to it. However, Laura Crawford took us there in August of 1987 and my husband Lloyd made a map that shows how to find it. See Map No. IV,
This genealogical information came from research done by Laura Leonard Crawford and Lloyd Farabee and from information in the Bright and Mitchell folders in the Pensacola Historical Museum, information gleaned from Grampa Moore's letters (some more than 100. years old), and from the memories of cousins Bernice Pickering Wells and Helen Hart Anderson.
