Dr. Edward W. Norton ' Dies At Age Of 73
Dr. Edward W. Norton, 73. New Orleans chiropodist, died at his residence, 4218 Loyola avenue, on Monday morning after an illness of four months.
Dr. Norton was born in Shrem-bey, England, more than 70 years ago. He received his education in England and at the age of 21 years came to America to practice his' profession. He lived in New York for a time, but during the next nine years traveled into Canada and down through the United States [ to Florida.
At the age of thirty years he came to New Orleans and the city so satisfied him that he settled here, married and brought up a family. He maVried Miss .Hattie ? Howard, who was bom in Massa-chusetts though- she lived in New i Orleans most of her life and re?;
ceived her education here.
- / Up until the time of his fatal illness Dr. Norton was a practicing -chiropodist with offices at 331-108 Baronne street. When he came to New Orleans Dr. Norton lived fur-.
?	ther downtown but as the city spread out and up St. Charles avenue he moved to his late address on I?oyola avenue.

was to be in Masonic cemetery.
