On this 16th day of July ISS^before the undersigned Agent for paying U. S. pensionsers,
Louisiana Agency, at New Orleans, duly authorized by law to administer oaths to pensioners
and others, personally appeared Mrs. Rebecca Nixon, resident of Shieldsborough in the State of Mississippi, and on her oath declares that she is the widow cf Lt. CoL George H. Nixon 13th Regt. Mississippi Militia, that her name was placed on the pension list, roll of the Jackson Miss. A.gency where her pension has heretofore been paid, but wishes that said pension, hereafter, be made payable a the New Orleans, La. Agency; for the following reasons, that the latter Agency is more convenient and easy of access for getting her pension, than the former.

S. pr-r.sions, do herebv Certifv that I have the most satisfactory evidence, viz, my own personal knowledge and acquaintance for thirty years past, that Rebecca Nixon, who made this day the foregoing declaration: is the identical person she represents herself to be.
