Explanatory Notes Regarding Photographs
Four photos are submitted.
The first is photocopied from ?Along the Gulf,? and apparently predated an addition of a second story.
The second, in color, is of the major house as it looked before it partially burned. The date of this picture, from a postcard, is unknown.
Photo #3 is a view of the rear of the house, showing two wings extending into the back yard on angles of perhaps 45 degrees.
Lastly, photo #4 is a picture of the current house, showing where the proposed marker will be located.
All with the exception of the current house show evidence of the wings, thus authenticating the connection between photos, even though the facades may appear different.
