Joe Williams Pilet is the wife of the late Colonel Nunez Pilet. She lives on Highland Drive in Bay St. Louis and is a free lance journalist by profession. She is best known in this area as the editor of Heritage Editions of the Sea Coast Echo and various historical articles.
While living in New Orleans she was a staff member of the Public Relations Division of the Pan-American Life Insurance Company, and later Assistant international editor of the Trade Journal. Prior to her marriage to Col. Pilet she was public relations official for Allied Van Lines in Gulfport. Her hobbies include gardening, music and poetry. She serves as recording secretary for the Friendship Oak Chapter, N.S. DAR and is one of 12 Mississippi persons to have her garden certified by the National Wildlife Federation. Her topic today is "Gardening with Wildlife".
