For many years now I have been collecting information pertaining to the John G. Shaw family. I am compiling for a genealogical record. It would be a great help if you could send the information asked for below. Also, I would like to have information pertaining to each family member who has served in the military past and/or is now serving in the military. A copy or Zerox copy of a picture while in uniform will do. For individuals who.'have graduated from a two year college or a four year university please send the name of the person, name of college or university and date of diploma/graduation and area of study. If you taught school in the past or present please let me know. If you or someone you know who is a member of the John G. Shaw family has owned a business in the past or now owns a business, please send the name of the person, name of the business, kind of business and its location. Please send the names of persons who have held public service jobs or public service positions in the past and present. If you have a picture of an old building such as a school, store or any thing of this kind, please, send a picture or
Zerox copy (Buildings--------------------in the Pearl River County,
Hancock County, Harrison County, and/or Stone County). If there are any stories of things that occurred in the area in which you grew up that you would like to share with family please write or tape those and send them to me. If you have or can think of any other information that needs to be recorded in the family history, please send that information as soon as possible. For this is a slow process and the information needs to be recorded before other family members are deceased.
