(1)	The Stringer descent is from Col. John Stringer, born in England about 1590, immigrated to Tidewater Virginia in 1621, where he practiced as a physician and lawyer, as well as being prominent in military and ecclestastical fields.
(2)	The Culpepper descent is from John Culpepper, who immigrated from England via Barbados to Charleston, S. C. in March 1671 and was Surveyor General of South Carolina and leader of so-called "Culpepper Rebellion.?
