:	Twenty years of service
After twenty years of prescriptions, measuring and counting countless pills, mixing up cough syrups and dispensing various and sundry medications over the counter at Fahey Drug Company,
Charles Thomas has emerged from behind the counter of the drug store to become resident pharmacist at Hancock General Hospital.
Weinberg who had for so long dispensed medicine at Fahey's.
In spite of the demands of his profession Charles found time to take part
Charles and his wife, formerly Jessie D o r Welch, were born and reared in Picayune, Miss. After military service in World War II and the Korean War, Charles was a civilian pharmacist at Kees-ler Air Force Base General Hospital in Biloxi until 1956. In November of that year he came to Bay St. Louis as pharmacist for Fahey Drug Company, later purchasing the establishment and becoming proprietor. Older residents of the Bay can sincerely say that Charles, adequately filled the gap felt by the death of Alvin
in many civic activities which included charter membership in Jaycees, Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club, member of the Bay St.	Louis School
Board, and Christ Episcopal School Board.
The Thomases have one daughter. Mrs. Prima Wus-nack who is Director of the ever-growing Hancock County Library System.
While Charles and Jessie will be surely missed behind the counter at Fahey's, they are still with us behind the glass doors of the hospital pharmacy.
