Theodore Walters was 76 years old when he died. He was living with his daughter, Hettie, in New Orleans, La.
Theodore married Nancy Caroline Sandifer, daughter of John Washington Sandifer and Jane G. Strickland. Nancy was bom on 15 Jul 1853 in Pike County,, Mississippi. She died on 11 Jul 1903 in Bay St. Louis, Hancock County, Ms. and was buried in Santa Rosa Church Cem., Bay St. Louis, Hancock Co., Ms..
Nancy Caroline Sandifer first married Theodore Walters.
Her second husband was Victor Ladner. On the License it states: Mrs Nancy C. Sandifer widow Theo Walters. He was still living, so they must mean divorced and she is a "grass widow". Witnesses are C. Dorn and Sidney E. Walters.
C. Dorn is Christian Dom husband of Nancy's daughter Lelia Annie Walters. Sidney E. Walters is Nancy's son. On her head stone it reads: Nancy C. Ladner, 15 July 1874/11 July 1903.
Theodore and Nancy had the following children:
	8 M	i.	Thomas L. Walters was bom on 23 Jul 1870.
+	9 F	ii.	Lelia Annie Walters was bom on 14 Jul 1872 and died on 24 Oct 1904.
	10 F	iii.	Stella Mae Walters was bom in 1873. She died in 1878 in Died Young and was buried in Santa Rosa Church Cem., Bay St. Louis, Hancock Co., Ms..
	11 M	iv.	Sidney Walters.
