DEATH OF MRS? THOMAS PRICE AND DAUGHTER
Our brother the Reverend Thomas Price, a superannuate of the Mississippi Conference, residing in Ennis, Texas, has passed through deep waters of affliction. Since he left Mississippi, his wife, two grown daughters and one son have died , ? * Writing from Ennis, Texas, September 3 ... he says:
"Stroke after stroke falls heavily upon us. On the 22 August, Mrs. T. E, Price, who has been my companion for nearly 36 years, passed away to the better land yesterday my daughter Emily died after a protracted sickness. The mother and 5 children are now in paradise - the father and five children are left to mourn ..."
From the same publication, Nov. 3, 1881, page 2, column 5:
Price - Mrs, T? E? Price, the subject of this obituary was born in Washington Parish, Louisiana, October 15, 1829. Her father, Rev. John P. Haney, a member ?f the Mississippi Conference, died when she lacked only a few days being 2 years old,. Thus left her only a few recollections of her father's great love
