Williams, Edgar - February 11, 1998
Edgar Wilford Williams, 74, of Waveland, died Wednesday, Feb. 11, 1998, in Waveland.
Mr. Williams was a commercial fisherman. He was a native of New Orleans and a member of St. Clare Catholic Church in Waveland.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilford and Ophelia Birdian Williams, a daughter, Joyce Garcia; a brother, Johnny Williams; and two sisters, Mable Minko and Mildred Tastet.
Survivors include his wife, Eloise Strong Williams of Waveland; a stepson, Randy Ladner of Lakeshore; a step-daughter, Dina Seal of Waveland; five brothers, Pete Williams of Kenner, Jessie Williams and Steve Williams, both of Metairie, Joe Williams of Shreveport, La., and Gipson Gilliams of New Orleans; two sistes, Beulah Cuenca Ching of Violet, La and Anne Wolinski of New Orleans, eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was Friday at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, followed by services in St. Clare Catholic Church in Waveland. Burial was in Lakeshore Cemetery.
