Obituary Record

deMontluzin du Sauzay, Reine  -  January 19, 1910

The funeral of Mrs. Reine de Montluzin du Sauzay, who died here yesterday at her late residence on Front Street, took place today at 3 o'clock p.m., Rev Father W.S. Irwin officiating.

The deceased was of gentle birth, refined and of rare intellectuality, and possessed many fascinating qualities. The esteem in which she was held was attested by the wealth of floral offerings that came from many points-----pure white roses, camellias, carnations, and hyacinths, emblematic of her white soul. Many telegrams of condolence were received by her sorrowing children, and her funeral was one of the largest ever witnessed here.

She was laid to rest in the tomb that was opened less than four weeks ago to receive the remains of her husband, the distinguished French gentleman, Mon. L. A. de Montluzin du Sauzay.
