Ladner, John Baptiste Victor  -  June 20, 1951

John Baptiste Victor Ladner, a member of one of the oldest families of this section, died at his home in Lakeshore Wednesday, June 20, at 10:00 a.m.

Mr. Ladner, who observed his ninety-fourth birthday January 17, was the son of the late Oralie Guerry Ladner and Delmas Ladner, both of Bay St. Louis.

The deceased, a farmer and cattleman during his active life, resided with his wife, Corinne Honorie Ladner, at their present home for the past 66 years.

Funeral services, in charge of the Fahey Funeral Home, were held from his late residence, Thursday, June 21, at 4:00 p.m. with religious services conducted at Clermont Harbor Catholic church by Rev. Father M.J. Costello. Interment was in Lakeshore cemetery.

Mr. Ladner is survived by his wife; six children, Mrs. Corinne Asher, Clermont Harbor; Mrs. Hattie Craft, Bay St. Louis; Mrs. Winnie Tisdale, Mississippi City; Osvil Ladner, New Orleans; Wesley Ladner, Lakeshore; and Andrew Ladner, Ansley; 19 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
