Ladner, Alcide  -  July 16, 1984

Alcide Ladner died at his home on Kellar Avenue at 11:30 A.M. on Friday, July 16.

Mr. Ladner, a native and live long resident of Bay St. Louis, was 80 years of age. He was the son of the late Delmas Ladner and Eulalie Guerry. He had served as Justice of the Peace in Beat 5 of Hancock County for 4 years; at the time of his death he was an employee of the City of Bay St. Louis in charge of Cedar Rest Cemetery. He was a member of one of the oldest families in Bay St. Louis.

Funeral services were held Saturday evening at 4:30 P.M. from the Fahey Funeral Home. Rev. Father Edward P. Desmond conducted the funeral with services at the funeral home, at the church of Our Lady of the Gulf, and at Cedar Rest cemetery.

Surviving Mr. Ladner are eleven children; Mrs. Forrest Luc, Bay St. Louis; Gus Ladner, Bay St. Louis; Lillian Ladner, Bay St. Louis; Delmas Ladner, Hattiesburg; Mrs. Fred Roemer, New Orleans; Mrs. T.L. James, Bay St. Louis; Russell Ladner, Mobile; Mrs. Harry L. Witter, Bay St. Louis; Mrs. Jack Bosarge, Biloxi; Mrs. T.J. Wimprine, New Orleans and Nolan Ladner, Bay St. Louis; and one brother J.B.V. Ladner of Lakeshore.
