Favre, Ursula Ruth  -  June 11, 2000

Ursula Ruth Oliver Favre, 82, died Sunday, June 11, 2000, in Gulfport.

Mrs. Favre was a native and resident of Bay St. Louis. She was a member of Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church in Bay St. Louis, the VFW Post 3253 Ladies Auxiliary, the American Legion Post 139 Ladies Auxiliary, the DAV Chapter 50 Ladies Auxiliary, the Pink Lady at Hancock Medical Center, and RSVP Volunteer and the World War II Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Joseph Favre Sr.; her parents, Mark and Annie Johnson Oliver; three brothers, Ulyses Oliver, Mark Oliver Jr, and Eddie Oliver; and a sister, Iris Morel.

Survivors include two sons, Lawrence Joseph Favre Jr. of Round Rock, TX, and Maurice Ronald Favre of Bay St. Louis; two sisters, Audrey Clark of Orange Grove and Myrtle Moran of Waveland; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10-11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis. A procession will then leave the funeral at 11:45 for a noon service at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church in Bay St. Louis. Burial will be in Waveland Cemetery.
