Joseph L. Fucich, 81 of Lakeshore, MS died on Friday, February 3, 2006 in Johnson City, TN. He was born on July 22, 1924 in New Orleans, LA and was a lifelong resident of Lakeshore, MS. He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Lakeshore, MS.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine Boyle Fucich; his son Daniel Fucich; parents, Vladimir & Jessie Fucich; and 2 brothers, Stanford and Jeff Fucich.
He is survived by his daughter, Kerry Assells of Greenville, TN; 2 brothers, Vladimir T. Fucich of Waveland, MS, and James K. Fucich of Lakeshore, MS. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 6, 2006 from 10:00 am until Mass time at 12:00 noon at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Lakeshore, MS. Burial followed in Lakeshore Cemetery in Lakeshore, MS.
Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, MS was in charge of the arrangements.
