Costella, Edith E. - September 3, 1999
Edith Elizabeth Costella, 57, of Waveland, died Friday, Sept 3, 1999 in Hammond.
Mrs. Costella was a native of New Orleans and a longtime resident of Waveland. She was a member of St. Clare Catholic Church in Wavelnad and of American Legion Post 77 Ladies Auxiliary in Waveland.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Costella; her father, Mirt Albert Fisher; a son, Scott Spurlock ; and a brother, Benny Albert Fisher.
Survivors include a son, Henry Spurlock of Waveland; her mother, Sara Elizabeth Fisher of New Orleans; a brother, James Ray Fisher of LaCombe, La; sisters Joyce Rodrigue and Lenell Lillie of New Orleans, Dorothy Marie Akins of Covington, Ethel Mary Adair of Natchez, and Exa Lee Woods of Slidell; eight grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be today 10-11 a.m. at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis followed by services in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Waveland City Cemetery.
